Meet the Lawyer

Rouba Wehbe is a lawyer admitted to the Barreau du Québec and the Law Society of Ontario and the founder of O Légal | Rouba Wehbe Avocate Inc.
Her legal practice focuses on immigration law, private international law, and notarial services, while her advisory practice includes political advisory, public policy, strategic analysis, and international negotiation.
Prior to founding O Légal, Rouba held legal and advisory positions within the Parliament of Canada, where she advised Members of Parliament and Ministers on legislative, regulatory, ethics, compliance, immigration, and public policy matters, and supported the Office of the Prime Minister on strategic legal and policy initiatives.
Rouba also teaches law at Canadian universities. She teaches Private International Law at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the University of Ottawa and the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO) and serves as a Teaching Assistant in Canadian politics and public policy at the Royal Military College of Canada.
She holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs (Diplomacy and Foreign Policy) from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA), Carleton University.
Her academic and professional background includes legal studies at the Lebanese University, advanced studies at The Hague Academy of International Law, a Master of Arts in International Affairs (Diplomacy and Foreign Policy) from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA), professional training in international trade and multilateral negotiations through the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, and continued professional development in diplomacy, international affairs, and geopolitical strategy.
Rouba combines legal expertise with practical experience in public institutions, academia, and international affairs to provide legal representation and strategic advisory services to individuals, businesses, institutions, governments, and organizations.
